Zimbabwe's President, Robert Mugabe, has issued an extraordinary government gazette proclaiming another Unity Day Holiday, in the form of a 3-day, July 24-26, National Peace Days.
Though President Mugabe was quick to mention that these three days were not national holidays, it is widely expected that at least one of these days will become a public holiday, celebrating Mugabe's grand plan to swallow the MDC and dedicating the day as a national symbol of unity just like the December 22 annual public holiday, which commemorates the marriage between Zanu and Zapu parties.
