The government of Barbados has published the official list of official public holidays in Barbados for the calendar year 2012.
As was the case for the announcement of the official list of previous years' Barbados public holidays (12-Feb-2010 and 16-Apr-2009), the aforementioned announcement implements the Barbados-specific day in lieu rules for sequential public holidays that fall on a weekend, such as occurs in early August and around Christmas.
