The secretary of Iraq's Kurdistan Region National Assembly, Muhammad Khoshnaw, has confirmed that Thursday, March 11, and Sunday, March 14, 2010, would be regional public sector holidays throughout Kurdistan.
Secretary Khoshnaw went on to point out that, March 16, the 22nd anniversary of the Halabja massacre, would be a commemorative date only, and otherwise a regular working day for all sectors of Kurdistan's economy.
