Israel's Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has announced that the Israeli cabinet will soon declare a national day for the revival and research of the Hebrew language.
This new holiday, to be celebrated on the birthday of Eliezer Ben-Yehuda, who revived the language, is not expected to be a non-working day (ie. it is expected to be a regular working day).
