Mauritania's President has issued a decree which declares Wednesday, November 17, 2010, the day after the El Id Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) public holiday, as a one-off public holiday in Mauritania.
The decree thus extends the El Id Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) public holiday for a second day in Mauritania, as almost always happens for religious public holidays (13-Dec-2001, 04-Mar-2001 and 05-Jan-2000).
