Pakistan's Prime Minister, Yousuf Raza Gilani, has approved an expanded four-day Eid-ul-Fitr public holidays, running from Friday, September 10, to Monday, September 13, 2010, inclusively.

The aforementioned announcement means that the Eid-ul-Fitr public holidays will begin one day later, and last one day longer, than what was announced in the "expected dates for public and optional holidays for the calendar year 2010" published by the Government of Pakistan at the end of last year (24-Dec-2009).
