During a cabinet meeting chaired by Rwanda's President, Paul Kagame, yesterday, it was decided that Monday, March 8, 2010, would be an official non-working public holiday.
From the text of the cabinet minutes (Statement On Cabinet Resolution Of 05/03/2010, section 8), it appears that this is meant to be a one-off public holiday, rather than a reinstatement of the annual Women's Day public holiday, cancelled in 2006 (01-Mar-2006).
