At this week's enlarged meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, Turkmenistan's President, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, announced the decision to celebrate the Day of Oil and Gas Industry Workers and Geologists each year on December 14.
The official law texts have not been released yet, but, as in previous cases (25-Jul-2008), our local contacts do not expect this new national holiday to be a non-working day (ie. a public holiday).
