The President of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov, has signed a resolution "on celebrating Kurban Hayit holiday " which declares Tuesday, November 16, 2010, as the date of the upcoming non-working public holiday for the Kurban Hayit (Feast of Sacrifice).
As usual (08-Sep-2010), the decree was signed earlier today, based on the recommendation of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan that the day of the upcoming Kurban Hayit would be on November 16, 2010.
