Isle of Man 2012 Public Holidays Announced

Tynwald has officially announced the actual dates of the official public holidays in the Isle of Man for 2012.

The aforementioned announcement confirms the establishment of a 4-day weekend around Tynwald Day and the Queen's Diamond Jubileee (10-Sep-2010), as per the Bank Holidays (Amendment) Order 2010 and the Bank Holiday (Her Majesty the Queen's Diamond Jubilee) Order 2010.

This additional day off, will take place on Friday, July 6, 2012, following the annual Tynwald Day public holiday on Thursday, July 5, 2012, thus creating a 4-day weekend.
