Spain 2012 Basque Public Holidays Announced

(Posted on Thursday, July 7, 2011)

Source: Boletín Oficial del País Vasco (BOPV)

The executive of Spain's autonomous region of the País Vasco has released its calendar of official regional public holidays (calendario laboral) for the upcoming calendar year 2012.

As per the aforementioned "calendario oficial de fiestas laborales de la Comunidad Autónoma Vasca para el año 2012", the upcoming list of regional public holidays will include Easter Monday (Lunes de Pascua de Resurrección) and October 25 (Día del País Vasco) which was made into an official non-working holiday last year (23-Apr-2010).

Due to the fact that all, save one, national public holidays will fall on weekdays in 2012, the date of July 25 (Santiago Apostol) was not included in the "calendario oficial de fiestas laborales de la Comunidad Autónoma Vasca para el año 2012".
