The Consejo de Gobierno de la Junta de Extremadura of Spain's Autonomous Region of Extremadura has published the list of regional public holidays (calendario laboral) for the calendar year 2012 in the Extremadura.

In 2012, as per the aforementioned decree, the Autonomous Region of Extremadura has decided to declare regional public holidays on September 8 (Día de la Comunidad Autónoma de Extremadura), and as was the case last year (03-Jul-2010) and will be the case in other regions (26-May-2011 and 27-Apr-2011), on January 2 (because the New Year public holiday falls on a Sunday in 2012).
