Spain 2012 Melilla Public Holidays Announced

The Consejo de Gobierno de la Ciudad Autónoma de Melilla has approved the official list of 2012 non-working public holidays (calendario laboral) in Spain's autonomous region of Melilla.

As per the aforementioned "ACUERDO de 4 de octubre de 2011, de la Ciudad Autónoma de Melilla, del Consejo de Gobierno, relativo al Calendario Laboral para el año 2012.", the 2 annual public holiday that will fall on a Sunday in 2012, will be compensated by the inclusion of a public holidays for San José and, once again, for the Feast of Sacrifice (Pascua del Sacrificio) Muslim public holiday, its date in Melilla having been set to Friday, October 26, 2012, while neighboring Ceuta recently announced its date for the Feast of Sacrifice (Pascua del Sacrificio) Muslim public holiday for the following day (26-Sep-2011).
