The Government of Trinidad and Tobago has announced that Wednesday , October 26, 2011, would be the date of the upcoming Diwali public holiday in Trinidad and Tobago.
This date follows the frequent tradition, in Trinidad and Tobago, of using the South Indian method of calculation Divali, as was the case, for example, in 2005 and 2010(07-Oct-2005 and 10-Oct-2010), but not in 2007 (10-Aug-2007).
