The government of Nepal has released the list of official non-working public holidays in Nepal for the Nepalese year 2069 (April 2012-April 2013).

The aforementioned Sonam Loshar New Year was added as a government and regional public holiday in 2008 as part of a major re-shuffling of Nepalese public holidays (07-Mar-2008), which saw the installation of Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, Christmas, the Birthday of Guru Nanak, Ubhauli Udhyauli, Goura, and 2 Lhosars (Tamu and Gyalpo), Siruwa and Maghi, as official Nepalese public holidays.
