The Consejo de Gobierno de la Ciudad Autónoma de Melilla has aproved the oficial list of 2013 non-working public holidays (calendario laboral) in Spain's autonomous region of Melilla.
As per the aforementioned "Acuerdo de 27 de septiembre de 2012, de la Ciudad Autónoma de Melilla, del Consejo de Gobierno, relativo a la aprobación del Calendario Laboral para el año 2013.", the 2 annual public holiday that will fall on a Sunday in 2012, will be compensated by the inclusion of a public holidays for San José and, once again, for the Feast of Sacrifice (Pascua del Sacrificio) Muslim public holiday, its date in Melilla having been set to October 15, 2013, while neighboring Ceuta recently announced its date for the Feast of Sacrifice (Pascua del Sacrificio) Muslim public holiday for the following day (01-Oct-2012).
Note that there seems to be an error in some of the December 2013 public holidays listed in the BOME de 9 de octubre de 2012 and we expect a correction to be released by Consejo de Gobierno de la Ciudad Autónoma de Melilla the in the next few months.
