The Government of Mali has declared tomorrow, Thursday, September 19, 2013, as another one-off non-working public holiday ("journée fériée chômée et payée") throughout Mali, to enable the population to witness the inauguration of President Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta.

As per the communique released by the Mali Minister of Labour "ce jour, jeudi 19 septembre, est férié en raison des festivités pour l'investiture du Président Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta".

Last summer (23-Jul-2013), the Government of Mali had declared Friday, July 26, 2013, as a one-off non-working public holiday to enable the population to go and get their electoral registration cards for the July 28, first round of the presidential election.
