Trinidad and Tobago's Communication Minister, Jamal Mohammed, has announced that the Cabinet had decided to declare Friday, August 9, 2013, as the official date of the upcoming non-working public holiday in Trinidad and Tobago in conjunction with Eid-ul-Fitr (End of Ramadan).

The aforementioned announced date of Friday, August 9, 2013, as the official date of the upcoming public holiday in Trinidad and Tobago for Eid-ul-Fitr (End of Ramadan) was made by Cabinet in accordance with the Public Holidays and Festivals Act, as usual (03-Aug-2012, 15-Aug-2011, and 12-Aug-2011).
