Spain 2015 Ceuta Public Holidays Announced

(Posted on Wednesday, October 8, 2014)

Source: Boletín Oficial de la Ciudad de Ceuta (BOCCE)

The legislative assembly of Spain's autonomous region of Ceuta (Ilustre Pleno de !a Asamblea de Ceuta) has approved the annual official list of 2015 non-working public holidays (calendario laboral) in the Ciudad Autónoma de Ceuta.

As per the aforementioned "Resolución de 7 de octubre de 2014, de la Ciudad Autónoma de Ceuta, por el que se aprueba el calendario laboral para el año 2015.", the 2015 Feast of Sacrifice (Pascua del Sacrificio) Muslim public holiday, will be observed on September 25, 2015, in Spain's region of Ceuta, as was recently announced also for the autonomous region of Mellila (27-Sep-2014).

Contrary to last year (08-Oct-2013), the September 25, 2015, date for next year's Pascua del Sacrificio seems correct. It seems that the last-minute changes of past years (24-Oct-2012, 19-Oct-2012 and 01-Oct-2012) is a thing of the past.
