Tanzanian 2016 Public Holidays Announced

The government of the United Republic Of Tanzania has released its annual list of official non-working public holidays in Tanzania for the calendar year 2016.

As is often the case (04-Jan-2015, 06-Nov-2013, 09-Jan-2013, 04-Jan-2012, 30-Dec-2010, 27-Oct-2009, 04-Mar-2009 and 08-Jan-2009), the announced dates of Muslim non-working public holidays in Tanzania for the calendar year 2016 are later than most of the other countries of Africa and the Middle East.
