The newly-appointed lieutenant-governor of the Government of India's Delhi NCT (National Capital Territory), Anil Baijal, has announced the gazetted declaration of tomorrow, Thursday, January 5, 2017, as a one-off non-working public holiday in India's Delhi NCT on the occasion of the 350th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

The aforementioned notification of Thursday, January 5, 2017, as a one-off non-working public holiday in India's Delhi NCT on the occasion of the 350th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji (Delhi Government Order No.F.53/ 57/2017/GAD/CN/dsgad), thus amends the terms of the Delhi Gazette No.F.53/22/2016/GAD/CN/dsgad iii, covering General Holidays, and Restricted Holidays in India's Delhi NCT for the upcoming calendar year 2017, as announced late last year (09-Dec-2016), and in which Thursday, January 5, 2017, the 350th birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh, was a restricted holiday only.
