Indian Telangana State Declares September 5 Public Holiday

The Government of India's State of Telangana has declared Tuesday, September 5, 2017, as a general holiday for government offices, schools and colleges located in Hyderabad, Secunderabad, adjoining Ranga Reddy and Malkajigiri areas of Medchal districts on account of Ganesh immersion and procession.

The aforementioned declaration of Tuesday, September 5, 2017, as a general holiday on account of Ganesh immersion and procession, amends the "Telangana GO List of General Holidays, Optional Holidays for the year 2017" (G.O.RT.No. 2529) which officially listed the annual non-working public holidays to be observed in the Indian State of Telangana for the calendar year 2017 and was released by the Government of India's State of Telangana last autumn (23-Nov-2016), and will be compensated by Saturday, September 9, 2017, being declared a regular working day.
