Source: Azeri Press Agency (APA) - Summary: The Press Officer of the Azerbaijan Cabinet of Ministers, Akif Ali, has announced that the dates for the upcoming Ramazan Bayram (End of Ramadan) public holiday, had been confirmed as Tuesday, September 30, and Wednesday, October 1, 2008.
Based on past practices, as the announced dates begin on a Tuesday, we think it likely that, in the coming weeks, the Azerbaijan government will announce that Monday, September 29, 2008, is a one-off bridge public holiday, to be compensated by having a regular working day on Saturday, September 27, 2008.
