Source: The Punjab Newspaper (Chandigarh) - Summary: Earlier today, the Punjab Government declared an afternoon public holiday, for tomorrow, Wednesday, November 12, 2008, to enable its employees to participate in Nagar Kirtan on the eve of Birthday of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
According to an official spokesman, this would cover Punjab government offices, Boards and corporations, and education institutes located in the Indian State of Punjab.
