23 Sep 2009 (Variety News-Koror) Palau President, Johnson Toribiong, has released Presidential Proclamation No. 09-09, confirming Friday, October 2nd, 2009, as the date when the national government will celebrate United Nations Day in 2009.
10 Sep 2009 (The Island Times-Koror) At this morning's press conference, Palau's President, Johnson Toribiong, announced that he would be moving the upcoming United Nations' Day national public holiday from its usual date of October 24th to Friday, October 2nd, 2009.
03 Nov 2008 (Palau National Communications Corporation-Koror) Earlier today, Palau's President Tommy Remengesau issued a proclamation making Tuesday, November 4, 2008, the day of the upcoming Presidential Elections, a nationwide public holiday.
