There are no specific individual pages devoted to the
Buddhist calendar or holidays. To determine the date on which a particular
Buddhist holiday will occur, even one observed by Buddhists worldwide, you need
to do so on a country-by-country basis.
The reason is
that, while Buddhism is indeed followed by hundreds of millions worldwide, they
do not all follow the same calendar. To calculate their holidays, Tibetan Buddhists follow
their own calendar that is a mix of the Chinese and Hindu Lunar calendars,
Mongols follow
a variant of the Chinese Lunar Calendar but with an offset in the solar
longitude used to determine the beginning of spring, Koreans follow a variant of
the Chinese Lunar calendar based on Seoul's geographical location, Chinese
Buddhists use the Chinese Lunar calendar, Japanese Buddhists (aka. Zen
Buddhists) use the Gregorian, Western calendar, Buddhists in
Sri Lanka use the
Nth full Moon of each Gregorian month, Buddhists in
Thailand use the full Moon
of the Nth lunar cycle after the Sun has entered a given constellation, ...
That is to
say: there is no uniquely defined "Buddhist Calendar" as there is a Jewish Calendar or a
Chinese Lunar Calendar.
