If you are entering holidays symbols, either as the default for a Holidays Set, or as the symbols of a specific holiday, from a text file, you can use the Text to Holidays Symbol converter.

To use the converter, simply copy and paste the textual representation of the symbols used into the memo control at the top of the dialog. The converter, as can be seen above, accepts symbols formatted in many ways :
•Lowercase and uppercase are treated the same (ie. nz would be accepted just the same as NZ or nZ). This is particularly useful if you do not have a text file and type the symbols text yourself (it avoids having to type in uppercase).
•The following separators are accepted : '[', ']', ',' (comma), '-' (hyphen), ';' (semi-colon), and ' ' (space).
•Multiple separators (eg. ', [') are treated as one separator only.
•There must be at least one separator between each symbol.
Note that you can use this dialog to type in holidays symbols manually instead of using the symbol selection dialog.
