Different Slogan Tokens use the same index

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Cause: 2 Slogan tokens of the same index have different trailing text.

For example: [:slog13_quoteoftheday] and [:slog13_motto]. For Cyclical and Run Once Only slogans sets, all that counts in a Slogan token is its index and slogans are used sequentially, with one token possibly robbing Slogans from the other token of the same index. Recognizing that the trailing text is used by the users to label, presumably, different tokens, Q++ issues a warning for Cyclical and Run Once Only slogans sets.

Consequences : All slogan tokens of the same index will be treated as the same, regardless of the trailing text that you use to label it.

Solutions:

Correct the Token in name.qxd : Opens the GridTemplate in QuarkXPress to let you change token (if you mistakenly typed a [slog12] token instead of a [:slog12], for example).
