Different Slogan Tokens use the same index

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Cause : Q++ noticed that 2 Slogan tokens of the same index had different trailing text. For example : [:slog13_quoteoftheday] and [:slog13_motto]. As far as Q++ is concerned, all that counts in a Slogan token is its index. For Q++ the tokens [:slog13_quoteoftheday] and [:slog13_motto] are exactly the same. However, recognizing that the trailing text is used by the users to label, presumably, different tokens, Q++ issues a warning that you may have made a typo.

Consequences : All slogan tokens of the same index will be treated as the same, regardless of the trailing text that you use to label it.

Solutions :

Correct the Token in name.qxd : Opens the GridTemplate in QuarkXPress to let you change token (if you mistakenly typed a [slog12] token instead of a [:slog12], for example).
