Property of the ScriptLine : BookFormat.

This property has a two-fold purpose, depending on the type of the current script.

Normal Scripts : Scripts that produce a QuarkXPress document with each page of the QuarkXPress document corresponding to one page of the printed diary. The overwhelming majority of scripts ar of this type. In these cases, the present property determines the folder into which the EPS files created by the QuarkXPress to EPS Converter will be saved. This QuarkXPress to EPS Converter can be accessed either through the Templates/Convert Main Output File to EPS menu sequence (if a script is open and a diary has been generated), or by the Tools/QXD to EPS menu sequence for any QuarkXPress file, even one not generated by Q++ Studio.

EPS Imposition Scripts : Scripts that produce a QuarkXPress document where each page of the QuarkXPress document corresponds to many pages of the printed diary (usually 4, 8, or 16) arranged in an imposition layout that corresponds to the layout on a printing press sheet. In these cases, the present property determines the folder in which Q++ Studio will look for the EPS files to be used as replacement for [eps] tokens.

Usually, the procedure is create a normal script, generate a diary, then to use the Templates/Convert Main Output File to EPS menu sequence to generate a folder that contains one EPS file per page of the inputed QuarkXPress file, then to create a new script that uses a GridTemplate that can contain all the previously generated EPS files in the correct position, and then generate this second script as an EPS Imposition Script.
