First letter of variable name must indicate its type

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

This compiler error will occur if a variable declared in the var, input or global sections does not begin with either of the following (lowercase) letters : s, n, b. Often this mistake simply comes from writing the variable name without the prefix. For example :

var

   CurrentDate

begin

The macro compiler relies on the first letter of each variable to determine its type.
