Japanese Month Names

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Q++ can display the old-fashioned Japanese month names using the following tokens :

[jpmmm]

Displays the abbreviated form of the old-fashioned Japanese month names. This is similar in structure to the [mmm] token.

[jpmmmm]

Displays the old-fashioned Japanese full month names. This is similar in structure to the [mmmm] token.

Note that these Japanese Month Names tokens refer to the old-fashioned and relatively rarely-used method of giving Japanese names to months. In modern calendars and diaries, this is rarely used, and you should instead use the normal month tokens set to use the Japanese language.
