A ListBox presents a list of possible values to select from, the one currently selected being highlighted.




The use of a ListBox is very similar to the use of the drop-down list of a ComboBox (actually, the drop-down list of a ComboBox is a special kind of ListBox).


You can move the selection up and down by one using the UP and Down keys.


You can move by larger increments by using the PageUp and PageDown keys.


Using the HOME key brings you to the top of the list.


Using the END key brings you to the end of the list.


If the text of one of the entries is too wide for the ListBox, you can display a hint containing the full text of the entry by placing your mouse over that entry (see sample above right).
