Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

The following tokens are used to display information about Moon day, also known as Tithi in Indian calendars. The available tokens are :

[md]

Moon Day (1-30) with day 1 as the day of the New Moon.

[mdd]

Moon Day over 2 digits (01-30) with day 1 as the day of the New Moon.

[mD]

Moon Day (1-30) with day 30 as the day of the New Moon.

[mDD]

Moon Day over 2 digits (01-30) with day 30 as the day of the New Moon.

By default, the token displays the lunar day based on the phase angle calculated at the end of the day (23:59:59.9999), which is the standard. To have the token based on the Moon phase angle at the beginning of the day, add :midnight to any of the above tokens, and to have the token based on the Moon Zodiacal position at noon, add :noon to any of the above tokens.

To specify how the above tokens are displayed when there are 2 lunar dates in a given solar day (eg. 30/1 or 30-1 or 30+1, ...), use the Moon and Sun Options property.

The calculations used for this token are based on the location specified by the Moon Data Source property. If more than one source is selected, you can specify which source to use by appending a digit that corresponds to that source's position in the list of selected sources.
