Original file name.qxd cannot be found

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Cause : Q++ cannot find the file name.qxd used for the QXD File property of the current QxdPages ScriptLine.

Because Q++ does not save a copy of the QxdPages files in its database (like it does for Templates), a copy of the files referred to in QxdPages must be available to Q++ to run a Script.

Consequences : Q++ will not preview or execute the current script until that error is fixed.

Solutions :

Search for name.qxd : Opens the Find File dialog which lets Q++ automatically search for the file name.qxd in another location, or even with a different name.

Let Q++ update all missing Quark files in this Script (recommended) : When you select this solution, Q++ goes through every QxdPages and DiaryGridLine of the current script and tries to update any missing QuarkXPress files. If it finds one match only, it uses it. If it finds more than one it does nothing. Note that, by default, this search beggins in the directories you have selected in the Preferences. Note that this functionality can also be accessed from the SCRIPTS menu.

Modify the path/name of name.qxd : Lets you modify manually the path and file name to be used for the current QxdPages ScriptLine.
