PictureBox Alignment

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

You can have Q++ replace the textbox containing certain tokens by a picturebox containing a graphics file. The list of tokens and the editors where the replacement graphic file can be specified are :

Token

Editor

Holidays Image Token

Holidays Manager

Slogan Tokens

Slogans Manager

Macro Tokens

Macros Box Actions

When the above tokens are converted, a picturebox is created with the exact position and size as the textbox that contained the original token. Each of the above editors allows you to specify the picture alignment as either of :

Center

(no stretch)

The image's center is placed at the center of the picturebox. The image's size is not modified, either to fill the box or to fit into the box.

Stretch

(keep ratio)

The image is either shrunk or enlarged proportionately until either the height and width of the image fit into the picturebox, and the other side is smaller than the picturebox. The shrinking or enlargement is done keeping the original image's proportions, so most often the result will be an image that has one side smaller than the picturebox.

Full Stretch

The image is either shrunk or enlarged until both the height and width of the image fit into the picturebox. The shrinking or enlargement is done without regards to the original image's proportions, so most often the result will be an image that fits exactly in the picturebox, but is distorted.

Top-Left

(no stretch)

The image's top-left corner is placed at the top-left corner of the picturebox. The image's size is not modified.

Other options are currently under development.
