Global Saras use colors not defined in any of the GridTemplates of the Script

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Cause : This message can occur if you selected a color in one of the Global Saras (the one in the BookFormat scriptline), which is not defined in any GridTemplate of the current script.

This situation can occur if you selected a Template Color in one of the Saras of the BookFormat scriptline, and then changed GridTemplate to one which does not contain these colors (or disabled that particular ScriptLine).

Consequences : Because of the problems QuarkXPress has generating diaries with colors not in the original template, your output file will probably contain a series of newly created colors of the form new color 1, new color 2, .... which will each have to be replaced manually in the output file. Even though this is just a warning, you should address it as a priority.

Solutions :

Edit the Sara used : Opens the MiniCalendar options so you can select a new color (preferable one of the Templates Colors).

Edit the Grid Options for this Grid : Opens the GridOptions property of the current DiaryGridLine so you can manually modify the offending color (this is only in case the Sara refers to a Template Color, and not a specific color).
