Specificities of the various QuarkXPress versions |

Although Q++ will work with QuarkXPress versions 3 to 9, inclusively, there are specificities to each of the QuarkXPress versions. These topics may be useful when you encounter problems with QuarkXPress, or if you are migrating from one version of QuarkXPress to another and wish to know the pros and the cons of each version.
These specificities (and the minimal/recommended minor versions) are covered in the following topics : QuarkXPress 3, QuarkXPress 4, QuarkXPress 5, QuarkXPress 6, QuarkXPress 7, QuarkXPress 8 and QuarkXPress 9.
Currently (March 2012) the recommended major version of QuarkXPress to use with Q++ Studio is still QuarkXPress 8 which is much faster than version 7 and which has been in use at a dozen Q++ Studio user sites for over 2 years with great success. Version 9 also seems stable and fast according to our in-house tests, but it is currently not yet used by any of our users in production.
