Resizing a Window

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Resizing a window can either mean to change its size incrementally, or to maximize it.

To change the size of a window, in Windows, place your cursor over any of its 4 edges (unlike the Mac where you must use the bottom right corner) and drag this side.

To maximize a window, you can either click on the maximize button at the top right of any re-sizable window, or you can simply double-click on the Title Bar of the Windows.

Note that in Q++Studio, most modal dialogs cannot be re-sized. Those that can be re-sized can be identified by a size-grip at the bottom right of the dialog

or the fact that your cursor changes to the re-sizing cursor (a line with arrows at both ends).
