Slogans
Slogans, also known as Quote of the Day are texts that are displayed using Slogan tokens and the Slogan Rules property.
Just like Holidays, Slogans can contain attributes such as bold, italic and underline. An example of a slogan might be :
You can fool all the people some of the time, you can fool some of the people all of the time, but you cannot fool all the people all of the time (A. Lincoln).
Slogans are grouped into Slogan Sets. These sets define the rules for the appearance of slogans throughout a diary. These rules are different from Holidays Rules in that they are targeted at the rules a customer may have in displaying his/her texts. For example, Holidays Rules are of the form first Monday in October, while Slogan Rules are of the form rotate these 8 texts or images every 8 weeks.
Slogans are edited in the Slogans Manager, which contains features to allow for their easy importation from a text file (presumably supplied by a customer).
