Solar holidays are usually based on solar events such as the 4 seasons, the 2 equinoxes, the 2 solstices and the entry of the Sun into each of the 12 Zodiac signs. However, some Asian countries base holidays on a specific Solar longitude that is not a multiple of 90 degrees (corresponding to the 4 seasons).
