The Tab Character Insertion Minicalendar Modifier, denoted by :tab, can be used to avoid the tedium of setting tab positions in the QuarkXPress GridTemplate.
To use it, insert the :tab modifier into any one-line minicalendar token, use the minicalendar property's Special Tabulations to specify where Q++ should create tab stop positions, and insert a tilde (~) character in place of any tab character, as shown in the example below :
When the diary is generated, Q++ will create the tab stops positions automatically and replace all ~ characters by a tab character.
