Tokens without surrounding braces

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

If your output file contains tokens that have not been converted, and these tokens appear without the surrounding braces (for example : Mmmm) then this is due to a error in one or more of the tokens you wrote.

Q++ could not decide how to convert these tokens. Therefore it simply left them in place, after stripping out the braces. In these cases, you will find a detailed run-time message that explains the cause of the problem. Selecting that message and then pressing the F1 key will take you to the corresponding topic of the help file.
