Using default name for script

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Cause : The current Script's name is of the form "New Script of …", which is the default name that Q++ proposes when saving a new Script, which has no GridTemplate associated yet.

Consequences : Your Script's name contains only information about the date it was saved, but no really useful info for you (client name, year, grid used, …). This will not affect Q++ at all (that is why it is only a hint), but you'll have problems finding it again when you need it.

Solutions :

Rename : give the current Script a new name.

Save as : make a copy of the current Script under a new name and, optionally, in a different directory. This is a copy; the original Script will remain under its current name.
