You cannot delete a language with children directly

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

To prevent wholescale destruction, Q++ forces you to delete languages one by one, which means that you cannot delete any language which has children; you must delete the children first.

This may seem user-unfriendly but you will rarely need to delete many languages, and the few additional seconds are nothing compared to the potential loss due to the accidental deletion of a language.
