Ghana Declares March 27 Census Public Holiday

The government of Ghana has declared Monday, March 27, 2000, a one-off census public holiday.

This will follow the previous day's Census Night where each and every person present in Ghana, irrespective of nationality, was enumerated at the place he or she was at midnight.
