Turkmenistan Declares March 5-7 Public Holidays

Turkmenistan's president, Saparmyrat Niyazov, has signed a resolution declaring March 5-7, 2001, as a non-working public holidays on account of the upcoming feast for Id al-Adha.

The aforementioned decree follows the introduction of the End of Ramadan as a public holiday (Decree No 2432 "On Id al-Fitr holiday" dated 14 January 1998), 3 years ago (1998-01-12).
