The Ministério do Planejamento, Orçamento e Gestão (Ministry of Planning, Organization and Management) has released the official list of non-working public holidays in Brazil for the upcoming calendar year 2003.
The aforementioned list, contained in the Portaria nº 755 que define os feriados e os dias de ponto facultativo no ano de 2003, regulates the public holidays taken by federal civil servants and those regional civil servants controlled directly by the federal government.
