Nigeria's Nasawara State Declares Public Holidays For November 7-8

Nasarawa State Commissioner for Information and Home Affairs, Labaran Maku, has announced that State Governor, Abdullahi Adamu, had declared Thursday and Friday, November 7 and 8, 2002, as public holidays throughout the State of Nasawara, on the occasion of the upcoming working visit of Nasarawa State by Nigeria's President Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo.

It is the first time a President is making an official visit to the state since its creation.
