The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government has released its official list of non-working public holidays to be observed in Hong Kong for the upcoming calendar year 2007.
As per the aforementioned announcement, days in lieu are re-stipulated "As the Lunar New Year's Day in 2007 falls on a Sunday, the day preceding Lunar New Year's Day will be designated as an additional general holiday" and "Also, as the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Establishment Day in 2007 falls on a Sunday, the day following will be designated as an additional general holiday", as was the case on past occasions (2005-04-15, 2004-04-02, 2003-04-04, 2002-04-12, 2001-04-20, 2000-05-05 and 1999-05-07).
