Swaziland's Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Meshack Shongwe, said that the date of the upcoming Incwala public holiday had not been made, adding that such a decision was made by Labadzala who understand the customary signs, which prelude the Incwala Dance.

The announcement is expected on Monday morning. The actual Incwala Ceremony has been announced by The Times as being scheduled for Boxing Day (December 26) and The Times mentions unconfirmed reports that a public holiday will be declared for Friday, December 28, 2007 (the date that we have been predicting all year-long).
